Hello! My name is Zizi and I'm 10 years old.
I love making decorations for my hearing aids.
Here I am going to teach you how to make your own decorations!

I will teach you to make dangling charm decorations, and also twisty decorations that go around the tubes.
Also, I will tell you how I use beads and stickers to decorate my aids.

Some of the decorations are easy to make, but some are difficult and you will need a grown-up to help you.

My mum and dad help me make my decorations for my hearing aids.

For smaller kids...

I have made these decorations for my audiologist to give to the smaller children who come to the hospital to get hearing aids. I made many pairs. They are very easy to make. I am sorry I have not taken pictures to make a proper tutorial. But this is how you make them:

You need shoe charms and also plastic tubing. My mum bought the tubing on the internet. The diameter was 4mm.

Then a grown up needs to remove the back (the bit that goes into the shoe) with scissors or a knife.

Then you cut the tubing into small segments and stick the charms using strong glue (but not super glue or your fingers will stick as well).

  1. My delighted 4 year old got Anna and Elsa ones today from the audiologist. She loves her new frozen hearing aids and has been showing them off to everyone. Thanks so much! X

    1. Hello Angela,
Thank you for your lovely comment. I'm glad that your daughter likes the frozen charms!
I'm not so keen on Frozen myself but I know that lots of girls like it!
